So I started to study painting in 1993 and with that I an representing how important is the nature with its flora and fauna for the humans life and I am having knowlgdge about many, many and very interesting things in life. I an very happy too, because I am learning about good behaivour, honesty, sincerity and so forth.
I like to read books and I am very curiuos since a boy. I am going ahead on painting and I would like some time to be an artist with the special aid I have in Usko-Ayar that means Spiritual Prince and directed by don Pablo Cesar Amaringo Shuna.

portraitREGNER REINA S

I was born in Pucallpa on May 31, 1979, at 9 in the morning. My parents are of poor economy. My father is a carpenter, my mother a house wife. I have two older sisters, Dolith and Jairi, one is working at the university as a nursery teacher, the other works in a wood factory. I help my father in carpentry, and my mother at home.
When I was 8 years old I wanted to learn how to draw and paint, but a school of fine art would cost a lot of money, and besides I was too young, but at home I practiced drawing. One day Don Fidel, a friend of my father, told him that there was a school of painting, and that I should be enrolled. On January 31, 1989, in the morning, my father went with me to the school. To his surprise the director Pablo Amaringo was my uncle. The first drawing I made was a tapir. My uncle corrected my drawing, so they became better. My first painting was a heron. When my paintings were better my uncle said that I could already participate in an exhibition. I had a painting in a collective exhibition an the Hotel de Turistas in Pucallpa, with a painting called "Deer". Then I had paintings in several other local exhibitions. In 1991 I sent a painting called The Sabancaya Volcano to an exhibition called "Disasters" at the International Museum of Children's Art" in Oslo, which is now on permanent display. After that my paintings have been exhibited in many countries.

RIVER SHUNA P

I was born in Pucallpa on August 25 1978. My parents are farmers living in Junin (lower Ucayali). Since I was little I helped my parents in their charcra (slash and burn plot) and also went fishing and hunting. I went to school in Santa Isabel, a small settlement by the Ucayali River but I was not able to finish high school for lack of financial means. I work to help my parents.
I learned about Usko Ayar through David Esquivel my cousin, and since 1990 I have been learning to paint. I am very happy because I am learning about the plants and animals that live in our forests and about riverain culture. Some of my paintings are permanently at the International Museum of Children's Art in Oslo.
River is a tiny boy, quiet and shy but the warm and humorous glimpses from under the long hair in his forehead and reveals a witty sense of humor. He is one of the many motherless boys who have found in Usko Ayar a sense of family. He gets along well with the Amaringos and sleeps out on the terrace. He shows a notable artistic progress with a lot of enthusiasm and skill.

portraitROBIN SUAREZ RUIZ

I have born on October 27 1973 in Pucallpa City. My parents are Don Ricardo Suarez Sinarahue and Dona Rita Ruiz de Suarez.
When I was 4 I used to help my mother selling fruits in the market near my home. Then when I was 5 I went to the kindom garden and afterwards to the primary school in the Trebol national school where I learn I was selling ice cream when I was 10 to help my mother with the expenses of the house.
In the school I used to do drawings, sketches about different things till a certain day when I have participated among the other students of the school on drawing and I went in that time, I was so happy.
My high school I did it in the Faustino Maldonado high school and I finished in the evening classes in the Inmaculada National School, because I was helping to my mother during the days but then I knew about the Usko-Ayar School of Painting so I become a student and with the time a painting teacher. I found in the school people as my real family we help each other and so on. I had the opportunity to travel with 20 of the school to Iquitos to work in the Sachamama Ethnobotanical garden where I also knew about many trees and plants and I am very happy about that.
This year I asked some permission to go to Lima and I come back to continue studying and doing what I really like to do. Painting and art is the most beautiful thing that are in life because a person learn to be patient and humble.

portraitSALOMON FASCE A
I am one of the students of the Usko Ayar Amazonian School of Painting and also I am a student of the University. I have born in Pucallpa on September 23 1975. Son of don Marcelo Fasce Pinedo and of dona Ruth del Aguila Valera, both of humble economic resources. I grew together with them with their teachings and advises about the Bible, then I slope on painting.
When I was 17 started to study in Usko Ayar where I receive the teachings from don Pablo Amaringo Shuna. I like the folk music, the culture and science. I like also to collect books and to read. I am concious about the importance of the wild life and the flora of the amazonic basin in the world so I like the ideas of protecting and preserving nature.
